Do not add unto His Word

Proverbs 30:5,6 - Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

The word translated as pure in today's message literately means refined gold, gold without impurity. We yesterday received the message 'be blessed and protected' and today's message extends that message.

To be blessed with godly blessings we need to in Christ and to be in Christ we need to be in the Hands of God and faith is what puts us into the Hands of God for it is by faith we are children of God. And faith means believing the Word of God and God Himself. Thus believing in God's Word causes a shield to be around us that protects us.

Today's message also warns us if we add unto His Word He will reprove us and prove us liars. The word translated as reprove means to judge. The verse tells us if we add to His Word, God will judge us and take the efforts to show us how wrong we are for what we fear will come on us.

Know one fact, no human among us knows the Word of God in its true depth, excluding Jesus, not even Paul did. Paul himself said every day he learned some new and the new caused the old to disappear. That does not mean Paul spoke wrong things before and now right.

Understand not all Paul's letters are published in the Bible and God preserved what He desired us to have. If one study's Paul's letters although he being spiritually most mature among all the Apostles, he did have faults and they are exposed in his letters and the Lord also shows us how he overcame at the end so that he became an example for us to overcome.

When a person is led by the Spirit of God even though he speaks of little knowledge, what he knows the Lord adds unto it and does not land undoing it fully and I have seen this in my life. It has been since 8 to 9 years since I have been writing teachings which are also posted on my websites and since these years even today though I have grown a lot in understanding, I have found very few, just a hand full, genuine mistakes that I have made in my teachings. The Lord built me and added unto my understanding. Those few serious mistakes I did the Lord did correct me and these I will never forget for they were at a cost. But if we be suborn and continue in our mistakes then the Lord will not fail to correct us before men so that He is proven true and we a liar.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, every word of your Word is true, tested and proven. Believing in your Word causes a shield to be around us for your Word is precious and life and your Angels are commanded to guard it, therefore when your Word is in us, we are guarded. Lord, we pray we do not try to make You a liar by adding to your Word and causing problems to come in our lives, for the Angels set to guard your Word will work against us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

1 Corinthians 14:9-12
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
