Let your seeds die

Matthew 6:3-4 - But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

One day I was having a sharing with a bother and sister in Christ at this sister's place. This sister was sharing about the things that happened with her and her ministry (work in the Lord). And one such thing was about something she had done, which was not appreciated by the person for whom she did it and instead received a rebuke. She said this was a seed she sowed in God's Kingdom. As she was telling it, this brother who was with us said something beautiful which I want to share with you today. He said the Lord told him (it was with a pun) that unless a seed dies it will not bear fruit.

It so happened that this sister was sharing this with others too at previous occasions. Unless we do not let the seed that we sowed to remain deep within the soil with out disturbing it, it will not die, nor become into a plant that comes out of the soil and bears fruit. If we every other day keep removing the seed out of the soil to show others the seed we sowed then, when will it die and when will it bear fruit?

Sow your seed and let it remain there, the Lord will pour the rains on it and it will harvest plenty of fruits for you.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Lord, all the seeds I sowed in your Kingdom are high breed seeds. I let them remain deep within the soil and it is You who will pour out the rains from the heavens and I will receive my harvest which the world will see. Help me Lord to sow plenty more such seeds. I ask this prayer in your mighty Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
