I AM with thee

Genesis 28:15 - And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

When we come into the Lord, the Lord does not want to just save us. He wants to exhibit us to the world. He wants to let His glory shine in us by making us standout in this world. All His promises He wants to fulfill in us. In Genesis 28:15 He assures that He will not leave us until He has finished His job in us. Even if we go haywire, God will help us return and will continue in our process.

We have to just keep to our part of the contract of sticking with Him and the rest He will do. The Israelites had a very short journey of a few days to their promise land but since they did not stick to their part, the journey took about 40 years. Let us do our part of sticking on to the Lord on a daily basis in every small thought and decision we make and stop the delay of the job being done.

Father, we thank You for the work You have started in us. Your Spirit, which we have received through Jesus Christ is working in us. Lord help me surrender fully to You, that I may not delay in seeing your glory. I ask this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
