Knowing the truth

Mark 12:24 - And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

I would firstly like to ask everybody's forgiveness for not sending mails these few days. In these few days many things came up one upon another. Starting with there were some technical problems from yahoo and rediff servers and the mails were getting deferred, therefore jamming our server thus making us to delete hundreds of mails manually. At the same time I was upgrading my computer at home (from where I usually send mails), being in the IT industry and many years of experience I still faced small problems that delayed it for a long time. All this problems can happen to anybody and would be considered okay, but the main thing that triggered all these was the desert experience that I went through these days. These were days where I went through dryness in spirit with no communication to God, therefore feeling weak. But throughout this period even though I tried to act blind I could not, for the truth was in me. It was this truth that I could not close my eyes to. How long can a person with sight act like a blind person. The other problems did come before too, and they did not last long but hoodwinking from the truth prolonged my problems. Also when we do not know the truth, keeps our problems prolonging. For when we have a majestic God who is all powerful and almighty, what are our problems before Him.

I tell you brothers and sisters we may fall many a times but if we have the truth in us, it is this truth that will bring us to realization and back unto our Lord. Keep yourself in the Word and thirst for more of it, like all your life depends on it and then do not worry about any problems or anything else in your life. It is this truth that will bring the realization of God's power in us and make it work through us.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, You are merciful and loving God. You have given us your Word and your Spirit of truth who reveals the Word to us. It is this understanding of the Word that keeps us in You, makes us know You and lets your power work through us. Lord, I thank You for your Word and for your Spirit that gives life to us. Keep us in your arms Lord never to let go of us even when we try to close our eyes to the truth. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
