Identifying the false prophets and priest

Jeremiah 23:31 - Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

The Lord throughout the Bible has been warning man about those who come in His Name and mislead His flock. They called themselves as His spokesmen or His priest.

In the book of Jeremiah the Lord gives a very easy way to identify them and catch them. Understand those who are not from the Lord and doing Satan's work have one agenda to kill us. Kill us does not mean our body but our spirit, they may make us feel good in our body and our thinking because our flesh does not like what our spirit says.

The reason they want to kill our spirit is because they do not want us to receive what the Lord has made available for us in Heaven, things which Satan (plural - the dragon & the beast) and the fallen angels have lost.

The clue which the Lord gives of how to identify these people is by what they say. The one thing which they say is believe in Jesus and you will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You do not need to do anything you need to just be a good person.

Being good is not going to save us. Good is a comparative term so according to who are we going to be good; man or God? If we do not know God then how can we be good? To know God we need to know Jesus Christ and know Jesus Christ we need to abide by Him.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ it is time most of us need to wake up. By just believing in Jesus Christ we will be saved but we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. To enter the Kingdom of Heaven we need to carry the burden. This burden is not out burden but the burden of Christ which is the CROSS. The CROSS does not mean the crucifix but the purpose or cause of Christ.

Christ came to save mankind, by His sacrifice He opened the door but we still need to enter it. To do this task He is not going to do it alone but with a team; this team mean you and me. That's the reason we all have a part in the plan of God, some will have a small part, some may have a big part, but all of us have a part - which is our CROSS.

Like it was the Ark of Covenant by which the Israelites crossed the river Jordan (which in Hebrew means 'descender' God the Son came as Son of God so that He could make us too Sons of God) to enter the promise land, we too can enter our Promise Land which is Heaven by carrying the true Ark of Covenant - the Covenant of Christ - the CROSS.

Jesus told us to cast our burden unto Him and take His burden which is light like a feather.

All our problems and worries we can cast unto Jesus and He takes care of them but we need to take His burden. When we take His burden we will not feel it because His Spirit helps us to carry the burden.

You and I may think how are we are we going to witness Jesus in this world which hates God and the Truth? We may think what if they come to harm us and our family members?

Dear brothers and sisters remember we worship and witness a Living God, Who is all able and alive and all seeing. He will not let any harm come to us unless we do things foolishly and not follow His instructions.

So let us carry our CROSS by witnessing Christ in our lives, to the people around us and to the whole world.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, You made a sacrifice which no man can ever comprehend. If You wanted You could crush Satan with a word and did not need to go through all this ordeal. But You did this so that Satan could be defeated by us, so that this testimony can remain forever and there will never again be another Satan ever. Lord open the eyes of your people that they may see those who are deceiving them saying they were sent by You. Help your people overcome their flesh and by the Spirit help them carry their CROSS...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]
Jeremiah 23:32-34
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 10:37-39
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Mark 8:34-38
34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Genesis 3:14-15
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
