Do not miss the bus, Christ is King

Luke 24: 21 - But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

There were some Israelites during that time who did believe that Jesus was their Savior but these Israelites had a different expectation of Jesus. They expected Jesus to overtake the king and become a King giving them a kingdom like the times of David. We today, by the Holy Spirit are revealed as to how wrong they were in their thinking.

Even today we have the save Israelites among us who believe that Jesus Christ will come again to rule the world for a 1000years like a human king.

Man has come to somewhat know God but yet like people during the times of Samuel they still want a human King, for they are so much in this world that they do not want to get out of it.

Jesus clearly said when He preached that His Kingdom is not of this world but yet people want His kingdom to be of this world. Jesus as God the Son was, is and will be the same, we cannot change Him; so it is best we come to the Truth by changing our mindset.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, You said in your Word You will come again and rule over your people leading them to their destination which is your permanent Kingdom. Your Kingdom can not be of this world for this world cannot survive which they will see You in your glory. Lord, we pray your people open their eyes and see the King is among them...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
