Now Be Strong

Haggai 2:3,4 - Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

When the Lord spoke through his Prophet Haggai to his people, they had gone through a great disaster. At the end of that experience the Lord told them not to lose heart for He is still there.

Today the same message is given unto us. If you have gone through a great ordeal and have come to a stage you do not know what to do. The Lord is talking to you and telling you to re-energize yourself, strengthen yourself.

You may ask - how do I do it?

And the answer to your question is in the same message. The Lord is telling us re-energize ourselves by the fact that He is with us. And to remind us who He is; the Lord brings to our knowledge that He is the Lord of the Heavenly Army. He is not only our Lord but also the Lord of the Angels and the all Heavenly beings. With one Angel more powerful than the armies of this world, you just can not imagine who our God is.

So let us put back all that we have been through and knowing that the Lord is with us and who He is, let us strengthen ourselves today.

Lord God, You are Almighty God. Heaven is your throne and the earth your footstool. Your majesty is throughout creation and time. No one can touch your glory, for all glory belongs to You. Every being in Heaven and on earth bows before You. Lord we thank You for You have found us worthy to dwell among us and to call us your children. Help us Lord to draw strength from coming to knowledge of who You are and who we are in You...
