Song for God's People

Psalms 121:8 - The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

A few days back the Lord had asked us to pray for the workers of his Kingdom - who preach his Word. Today's message in Psalms 121 assures us that although the people of this world may try any thing to dither Christianity, it will not happen.

This is not a group of people with some belief, or having a god made by human hands or who need to protect their own gods. These are people who's God is living and all powerful. At times, in his anger He delivers his people into their enemy's hands but soon He brings them back and punishes the enemy in multiples, the Bible and history is a proof.

When the Israelites kept the Word and carried the shadow of their cross no one could stand before them nor harm them. Let the people of God not be discouraged but be encouraged by singing the song Psalms 121 and carry their own crosses in truth.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You sent your Son Lord Jesus Christ to show us how we should carry our cross. Lord enlighten your people's mind that they do not carry the wood of Jesus but understand the true cross and carry their own cross without fear. And by the cross bring all your people unto their inheritance. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
