Even if you are not perfect the Shepherd will care for you

Isaiah 40:11 - He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

The Word of God is awesome and if you keep digging deeper you will surely learn something new every time.

After I took today's message there was this one word that struck me 'lambs'. And as I dug into the Lexicon I found this word occurs only in this place in the whole Bible. There are many words translated into English as lamb / lambs and when you get to the root of the Hebrew word it opens a great level of understanding of what the Lord is conveying through those scriptures.

The word translated as lamb in today's scripture is the Hebrew word 'telaw' <2922>.

Apparently comes from 'tala' <02921> in the (orig.) sense of covering (for protection); n m

02921 tala'
a primitive root; v;
AV-spotted 6, diverse colours 1, clouted 1; 8

Today's message is in flow with our previous messages 'Do not wear strange clothes' and others.

In today's message the Lord is showing mercy to those who are new in the Lord and say Lord 'I do not understand, I am not able to discern right from wrong, but You are my Lord and Shepherd and I surrender unto You'.

To them the Lord is saying 'fear not I am your protector and guide, I will care for you and lead you'.

So my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, even if you are not able to totally change yourself today do not worry. Just surrender to your Shepherd and He will carry you in His bosom and take you unto green pastures.

I did not change in one day; it took time for me too to renew myself. And I know that our merciful God will surely renew your minds and make greater works of you.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Father God, You are merciful God. Lord God, we thank You for your mercy and grace. In today's message we rejoice in your mercy and grace towards your little ones. Lord, carry your little ones in your bosom and strengthen them in your Word into mighty soldiers for your Kingdom...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
