The Lord does as He had devised

Lamentations 2:16-17
16 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.
17 The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

Normally at my session I take a topic and see it through, for this I send around 2 days preparing for it. But at yesterday at my session since I did get time to prepare in advance I took live as to how to churn out revelation of the scriptures by going into the Hebrew and Greek words, its grammar etc. Yesterday's scriptures given to us, was the 9th chapter of the book of Zechariah.

I have seen many scriptures with great information of events but yesterday scriptures blew our lid. As we were digging through the scriptures we were shock as the details the Lord has written in His Word of events taking place currently. Since we were a few months in the event we could see the accuracy of what it was written with what had just happened. It was like reading yesterday's newspaper with the reporter having inside access.

When we see bad events happening, we mostly think it is the work of the devil. But we fail to realize that many a time the Lord has warned us and since we do not adhere to the warnings the calamity falls upon us.

Today's message is one such calamity which is the doing of the Lord. The calamity is in its cradle stage and already many are praying to the doer of the calamity for relief.

Dear brother and sisters in Christ there are some events which are happening and will soon happen. These are given with such great details in the Word of God, so much so like reading a news article.

For example yesterday at my Church we had World Prayer Day and were praying in groups with each group given a set of points to pray. In my group we had one point which read 'Lord, we pray for the terrorist that they may be saved (come to know You) or else they be caught'.

Now praying such a prayer is foolish since in the Word of God it is written that during the times we are living in certain activities will happen and apart from famines, earthquakes and epidemics, terror is one such thing which the Lord has allowed to come on His people (this has not ripened yet). And the reason given is so that they may look up to the Heavens and turn to the Lord and come to know Him.

We are such shameless (stiff neck) people that if we did not have problems we would have done without God. It is problems which open our eyes and turn our cries towards the Heavens.

In cases like terror we need to abide in the Lord and know Him. And when we know Him we receive authority in Him by which we bind the powers of the terrorist against us. We bring confusion into their minds and they land killing their own people instead of us. We do not eliminate the terrorist, but render their terror against us helpless.

Look at the problems surrounding you and if you find a supernatural hand behind it, get on your knees, abide by the Word and be saved.

Lord God, Your Word is instructions of life to us. Lord, You have given all that we need to know throughout creation in your Word. Lord by your Spirit open the hearts and minds of your people that they may understand your Word and abide by it...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]
Zechariah 9:1-10
1 The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.
2 And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
3 And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
4 Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
5 Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
6 And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
