The Lord is near if you cry out to Him

Psalms 145:18 - The LORD is nigh (near) unto all them that call upon (cry out to) him, to all that call upon him in truth (faithfully).

The Word of God tells us that the Lord is every where. There is not place in the universe or in Heaven or even Hell where one can go to hide away from God; accept for one place.

That one place where God is possible not to be found is in one's heart (inner man). God is light and only in the darkness of the heart can one keep God away. Even a dead star or dark matter is not dark enough like the hearts of some. This darkness comes when sin dwells and obstructs the light of God into one's life.

Even in this darkness God is telling us today He can bring brightness into it. All He wants us to do is cry out to Him faithfully. If we cry out to the Lord with a believing heart He assures us that He will shine His light into our hearts and change our lives.

In this promise God does not say He will come into our hearts. He says He will come near and His coming near is sufficient to change our lives.

So, those who are feeling darkness in them, I invite you to cry out to the Lord and experience a total change in your lives.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are light. You Word is light unto us. Today, Father we have received your Word, promising us that there will be change in our lives if we cry out unto You. So Father, I lift my hands up unto You and from the depths of my heart, from the helplessness of my whole being Father I call out unto You come near to me. That I may feel the presence of your light in my life; that I may live in light away from this sinful life which I am living...

I ask this by the offering of the sacrifice of your Son Jesus, Amen.

7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
12 His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
