Let worship be your offering to enter His courts

Psalms 96:9 - O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

The Hebrew word used in the scripture for holiness is ' qodesh ' < Strong 6944 > which is also translated as apartness, sacredness and separateness.

To truly worship the Lord one needs to disconnect or get detached from all worldly things (underlined all) and also all spiritual things which are not of the Lord's. So let us before going in front of the Lord put back all our worries, schedules, relations and desires and hold on to our only desire to be in His presence. Let us break the shell around us and rejoice in our hearts and also physically; and come in His presence so that we may draw closer to Him.

Lord, I desire to worship You in truth. But there is a heavy burden which I am carrying and many things tied to my feet which prevent me from truly worshiping You. Help me Lord to get rid of all this and give me the strength to cast away my burdens to rejoice in your worship. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
