How to be circumcised

When the Lord meant circumcision, He meant the circumcision of the heart more than any thing else.

Jeremiah 9:25-26
25 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.

Deuteronomy 10:16
14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Deuteronomy 30:6
6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

The real circumcision gets initiated in the mind. To circumcise the heart one needs to circumcise the inputs to the heart which are; the five senses.

We need to circumcise our hearing, our sight, our taste, our touch and our smell; the inputs to our soul - our minds - our hearts - our inner being.

Jeremiah 6:10
10 To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

2 Peter 2:14-16
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

Matthew 13:15
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Matthew 6:25
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Circumcising the input to our inner being means controlling them according to what us necessary and good for us. So that the inputs that go in do not let us loose focus of God and God's purpose for us.

Jeremiah 4:4
4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ..... lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

Father God, with a circumcised heart I approach You. You take care of all my needs, and provide all that is necessary for our living. Let me not loose focus of the purpose You have created me and live life to its fullness in You. I ask this pray in Jesus' Name, Amen.
