Are you ready for the noonday?

Psalms 37:5, 6 [KJV-AV] - Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

The above scripture quoted from the KJV-AV [King James Version - Authorized Version 1769] translation is stated in NIV [New International Version] as

Psalms 37:5, 6 [NIV] - Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

When God created the world, Genesis tells us there was darkness and God said 'let there be light'. When I read this I asked myself if God is light how come there was darkness. If you read further the day is defined as evening and morning. A day normally constitutes of morning, noon, evening and night, but here there is a difference, all this should be understood in depth.

In the Bible the whole creation is a day (not the day we know) it starts with evening - when the sun (Son of God) was low and not seen, morning - when the sun (Son of God) came as man and became the light unto the world and the day will end with the noonday - when the Son will sit on the throne to judge all mankind.

We are children of light living in the dawn of creation. The righteousness of Jesus Christ is the sun for us. We as Christians should reflex this light unto all. The light to shine is not our light but the righteous light of Christ. The time will soon come when we will be there in the noonday along with all mankind to be judged as to how much of the light did we reflect unto others. Are you ready for the noonday?
