Understanding Grace and Works

Revelation 2:23b - ... and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Most people lose a lot in the Kingdom of God and on earth because of the lack of understanding between grace and work. Everybody tends to take the grace of God for granted and land up not growing in the Lord.

Let me try to write this as simple and clearly as possible.

It is the grace of God which was made available through Jesus Christ that saves us. It is not our works that saves us. But also understand Heaven is not a flat big hall that all enter and all have one seating. Heaven has many levels and vacancies are available at different posts in the Army of our God.

So if we have no high ambition and would not mind being always a foot solider (just and example) then do not worry about works. You just believe in Jesus Christ hold on to Him till you die.

But if you want to be a captain, commander or and Angel / ruler at higher posts then you better work for the Kingdom of God. It is according to our work we will get rewarded as we enter the Kingdom of God. This work need not be just preaching or spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This works include us being a witness wherever we are rooted in the plan of God. Our daily living, our speaking, our actions, our dressing, our eating habits, our desires, our priorities in life etc. what do they show unto others? Do people see Jesus Christ in us by seeing us?

We may not be perfect but we are fighters and we will not give up, but try and try to do as much as possible. Because if we give up we will lose heavily Heavenly.

I would like each one to read this message as many times it take for this message to register into your mind - your heart - your soul.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You have great plans for us. Help me Father, by your Spirit that I may aim and achieve for the high things of your Kingdom. Build and increase that quest in me and help me achieve it. For without your help I will not be able to do anything. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
