Forget the times of your widowhood

Isaiah 54:4,5 - Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Today's message is not for the widows or the women only; it is also for the men and all those who are married, are not married or were married.

In the start when I was not blessed with the Lord's wisdom to understand scriptures or things of the Kingdom of God, it was hard to digest that we getting married to the Lord. Our minds are so locked into thinking everything with our worldly understanding that we do not understand spiritual things.

The Hebrew word used for 'husband' has also been translated in 2 places as 'dominion'. One will understand marriage better when they understand why Paul said that man in marriage represents Christ and the woman His Church, therefore woman should surrender to her husband like the Church to Christ and the man should love his wife like Christ did to His Church.

We in our sins had given the dominion which God had given us unto vanity and destruction which Satan rules over and became slaves unto it. Now, to undo it we need to first give this dominion back to someone else who can destroy Satan so that we can have it again. Since we being in sin can die an eternal death if we come in the presence of God the Father, God (Godhead) has appointed Christ (The Anointed Man) to do this task. When we give Christ the dominion in our lives and become slaves unto Him; He, after the victory over the sinful nature in man and Satan will be glorified and will glorify us who are in Him.

The Lord is telling each and every one of us, no matter how deep we are in sin or in bondage and can not break the yoke around us, do not be burdened by it or try to fight against it by your own strength. Just get bonded unto Christ and He will do the job. I would in fact say He has already done the job for He said 'it is finished' and it is only a matter for us to do our part and be patient for the result to manifest.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, You love us your people so dearly that although we rejected You yet You did not reject us. We handed over the authority You gave us unto vanity and destruction. Therefore You came as man, and as man will judge and have victory over this vanity and Satan and give us back the authority which we received from You. Lord Jesus Christ, help us that we may surrender to You and your purpose so that we may have a share in your victory...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]
1 Corinthians 7:1-5, 22-23
1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

Ephesians 5:22-32
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
