Let the world know God by the authority you hold

Exodus 19:6 - And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

The Hebrew word used here for priest is 'Kohen' < 03548 >

03548 kohen ko-hane'
active participle of 03547; n m;
AV-priest 744, own 2, chief ruler 2, officer 1, princes 1; 750

03547 kahan kaw-han'
a primitive root, apparently meaning to mediate in religious services; v;
AV-priest's office 20, decketh 1, office of a priest 1, priest 1; 2

A priest does not mean just a religious person but means a person given authority to mediate between God and man.

When Jesus was man on earth, He spoke unto us and discharged authority to us, therefore anointing us all priest, all those who believe and have become His disciple. Every believer does not become a disciple, but those who walk in His ways does.

All who are holy are not necessary priest but all who are priest need to be holy. If you consider yourself have authority in Christ then it is necessary for you to walk the path of holiness. The people in authority are pulled up and dealt with severely if found unholy.

The world does know God only because His people lack authority and do not follow the path of holiness.

So let us people of God, glorify the Lord in the whole world by walking the path of holiness and having authority. And let our actions not just words speak unto our generations.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, You gave us authority on all this earth (physical creation) and subjected all these unto us. But we lost this authority due to sin entering us. Lord Jesus, You showed us the way of holiness and imparted your authority unto us. In your Name we gain back the authority which we lost due to sin. Lord Jesus Christ, help us know the depth of this authority and help us like You helped Moses, to use it with power and responsibility. Let You be glorified among us...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
