Human solutions are no solutions

Mark 5:25, 26 - And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,


In today's message I will concentrate on the healings of the woman with the issue of blood but we will today see how her problem got aggravated.

This happens typically in the life of us believers when the Lord comes knocking at our door.

We finds that this woman went to physicians, not one or two but many physicians. It was not that they all came in just one day, it surely must have happened over a long period of time.

Now just put yourself in her place and time line; think one physician you see and he prescribes some medicine to be taken over a period of time. You do not conclude the result unless you do as prescribed. After that you find no change but matter gets worst, so you call another and he too does the same and yet no change. After a few doctors you will not call another unless you find some improvement for some time although a period it gets you into more pains and uneasiness. But the relief you receive for hat short time creates a hope which makes you call more physician who can help.

At some time your patience starts to run out now it is only when someone guaranties results that you try him. But when that too fails you start to lose hope. Now you put a full stop to physicians and start to look for that one person who is not a physician and who can help like the woman did.

We believers to have a comfortable life until the Lord comes knocking at our door. If we do not open the door we start to see things happening in our lives. We try solutions, these solutions sometimes do work but after sometime they result into greater problems.

We keep trying and trying all the things we can, until we stop looking at man and at human solutions. This is the time when we really come to know God and the divine Healer.

To become whole we like the woman need to touch the hem of garment of Jesus Christ. Being a Jew the hem had a blue ribbon stitched into their cloak this symbolized them as people of God. Touching the authority of Jesus Christ heals us, renews us and makes us whole.

This happened in my life and I am sure there will be many who with testify the same. We would not want you to elongate your suffering to reach the result soon.

So stop looking at human solutions to your real problems and look at the Divine One and His solution in your life.


[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, You came to give us authority in your Name. In your Name all things come into submission. We have power to speak to our problems, our sicknesses and our weaknesses by touching the hem of your garment. Lord, let us always be aware of the authority we have in You and not hesitate to use it for your glory...

1 And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness [weaknesses].
