The Blood and the Cross - Part 1

I would like to share in brief with you over multiple mails about the Blood and the Cross.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul has made clear distinguish between sins and sin.

Sins are the wrong doings that we do.

God is Holy and due to our sins we can not have relationship with God. For us to have relationship with God we need to be free from sins. Since it is impossible for man to be free from sins by his own self, God had to intervene and sacrifice his only Son. It is the Blood of his Son that stands between God and us and cleanses us of our sins. Forgiven does not mean that God has forgotten. When God sees the Blood, He overlooks our sins therefore we always need t be under the Blood.

In the book of Leviticus chapter 16 the Day of Atonement was celebrated for the forgiveness of the sins of all. The sacrifice was made in full public view outside the Tabernacle in the outer court and the Blood was offered by only the High Priest in the Holy of Holies.

When we repent and offer the Blood sacrifice of Jesus, Jesus the High Priest on our behalf enters the Holy of Holies place and sprinkle his Blood on the Holy Throne.

Forgiveness of sins is not by our efforts but only by the Blood. Let not our consigns tell us that we are not been forgiven. We by faith believe in the cleansing of our sins by the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore we can now have a relation with God the Father because of the Blood sacrifice of Jesus.


[ Prayer for forgiveness of Sins ]

(Write on paper all the sins you need forgiveness for. If you can not remember them, ask the Lord to help you remember them. After you finish writing place your hand over the paper and make this prayer)

Father God, You are Holy and I can not come before You because I have sinned. Lord God I am not worthy and I realize by none of my efforts can I be able to come before You. Therefore I offer You the most Holy Blood of your Son, Lord Jesus Christ as an offering for my sins. I believe in the Blood and know that You can not overlook this Blood sacrifice. I thank You for forgiving me for my sins. Amen.

(After you finish praying over it, destroy the paper for God too does not remember it.)
