It is not you but Me, who gives the increase

1 Corinthians 3:7 - So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

This scripture is not only for those who work in the Lord's vineyard, ministering to His people but also for all others. We work hard and we worry what will happen, will our efforts be successful? Will we profit from our efforts?

When we do our job, we should just do our part honestly and put as much efforts required. Putting extra efforts means when we do the job we do not trust God for the result. We should do our part and let God do the rest; please do not over do it.

Remember the Lord (Holy Spirit) is our helper and partner; we do our part and hand over the rest to Him. He has never failed and will not fail us, only we learn to trust Him more and more, that may take some time.

Lord, You are a beautiful and amazing God. You dwell with me and help me at every point in my life. Let me realize this and know, till what point I do my work and at what point of time I hand over the work to You. O merciful God help me trust You more. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
