Taste and See

O taste and see that the LORD is good -- Psalm 34:8

In life we have the attitude of first checking out and assuring ourselves before we accept or receive. If we go to shop we will first see the product well, we will even try it out before we buy it. We have tuned ourselves that way because we know that we can not blindly trust man or man made products. When it comes to God the same approach does not work. When we try the same approach with God we become the losers. Psalm 34:8 does not say 'O see and taste that the Lord is good' to receive the Lord and His blessings we first need to taste Him and then only will we see He is good. To taste we need to take in our hands open our mouths and eat or swallow. That means make the efforts to take God's Word (believing it will do the job even if we have not seen it happen) confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts, only then will we see the glory of God in us.

[ Prayer for the Day ]

Father God, forgive me for many times You wanted to bless me abundantly yet because of my lack of faith I did not receive it. Hence forth Lord I make my mind that I will not doubt your Word. Your Word says I am healed by your sacrifice of The Lamb, I believe it and I will see it manifest soon. I thank You in Jesus' Name. Amen.
