Egypt shall know the Lord

Isaiah 19:21 - And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.


Some people may be happy reading the title, thinking the turmoil that is going in Egypt will come to an end and the people will come to know God. If I was a prosperity Gospel preacher this would have been my message, but I prefer to tell the message as the Lord puts it.

In the Bible things have the natural dimension and a spiritual dimension. The natural dimension may or may not be fulfilled in the prophecy but the spiritual dimension will indeed be fulfilled in the prophecy. Let me take an example. The Lord promised Abraham land which is referred to as Promised Land and when Abraham died he did not get the earthly land promised to him. This whole land was neither received by Isaac nor by Jacob or their descendants. Even when the Israelites were at their peak during the time of David they still did not have full hold of the earthly land promised by the Lord (David had made treaties with the people in those lands). Even today Israel does not have access to the whole Promised Land. Will they get it in the future? No.

Understand the Promise was not really to do with earthly land and nor was for the descendants born out of flesh but more for the descendants born out of faith / spirit. The Promised Land is Heaven and we will understand the shadow of the journey of the Israelites in the desert with life itself.

Israel means Prince of God or Son of God and Jesus became the first Israel and came to make all who believe in Him and abide by His Word into the true Israel.

Today message Egypt also refer to people who know God but live a worldly life / having other gods. Jesus Christ became the New Moses to bring us out of our spiritual Egypt. The Lord is telling us today there are many who are still in Egypt. There are many Christians who call themselves Christians but live a life like the pagans. The Lord is telling us He will make Himself known to them and will draw them out of their Egypt. They will come to know the man Jesus Christ their Saviour and His Spirit the Holy Spirit their Warrior and Champion, He will draw them out of their Egypt.

There is also another thing that is happening today. All those who worship the Lord for all the wrong reasons, will believe in van things they will soon land up in Egypt.

I can assure you as more and more passion for the Kingdom of God is filling the Believers, the people sitting on the fence and those outside are noticing and coming forth to experience our God. Things unthinkable before are happening today.

Lord, You are doing mighty works among the lost sheep. Like your Word says the multitude of your people will increase during the last day, much, much greater than the days of the Patriarchs written in the Bible. There will be people greater than John the Baptist who will do greater drawing of people than he did. Like your Word says You have numbered your people and their names are already written and the world will not end until they receive your Gospel and come to You. For not a soul whose name is written will be lost. We thank You Lord for finding us worthy to be instruments to bring your people to You and to see the manifestation of your glory to come...

Romans 9:6-8

Romans 11:7-8

Isaiah 19:20-25
20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

24 In that day shall Israel [the sheep] be the third with Egypt and with Assyria [the goats in the flock], even a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands [they will be saved from Hell for believing in Christ but will not enter Heaven to inherit the Kingdom of God], and Israel mine inheritance [ones who will enter Heaven to inherit the Promised Land].
