You are no longer your old self

Hebrew 8:12,13 - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Today again we have received an assurance from the Lord that He has already started the work in us. If we remove the text, which is not part of the original text but was added to make reading easy, we see that Lord is not talking of just the covenant.

Hebrew 8:12,13 - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old ready to vanish away.

By the contents we can put ourselves as the new creation. This does not mean we get a new body but we get a new nature. The nature of Adam which was / is in us will slowly vanish away with the coming of the nature of Jesus Christ in us.

So, each of us who approached the Throne of grace can expect to see a total change in our lives.

Lord God, we thank You for starting your work in us. Lord, we thank You for helping us overcome ourselves and to be renewed into a new creation full with the promises and blessings of Jesus Christ. Lord, we thank You for starting the grafting process of moving us from the branch of Adam unto the BRANCH Jesus...
