Render not evil for evil

1 Thessalonians 5:15 - See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

One of the weapons of mass destruction which Satan uses towards the children of God is to get them to lose control of their anger.

Like I have told you before one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit is slow to anger. Therefore any person who is not angry against evil and things concerning evil is not a true Christian. But at the same time if that very person loses control of one's anger, becomes a prey for Satan.

In our anger we lose focus of the purpose and redirect our anger against people who became vessels for Satan to get us, thus letting him succeed in his plan.

Like lust which makes us lose the truth of love, wayward or uncontrolled anger takes us off our walk in righteousness. We may feel we are right but we land up doing the wrong things 'being right', now our 'right' becomes wrong.

The only way to control anger is not to lose focus of the purpose / cause / CROSS as a Christian and for this we need to build the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we need You very much every moment of our lives. Satan the deceiver tries all the tricks he can sometimes by our 'rights' makes us do wrongs. Lord without You we cannot discern the ways of Satan. Be with us Lord, speak to us and guide us every moment of our lives...

23 Meekness [gentleness], temperance[self control - (the virtue of one who masters his desires and passions, i.e. his sensual appetites, greed etc.)]: against such there is no law.
