Trust the Lord

Psalm 37:1, 2 - Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass [hay], and wither as the green herb [small spouted grass].

Must be wondering why there has been a long gap between my previous mail and today's mail. If you have read my last mails the Lord was preparing me for that journey like Jonah went through in the belly of the whale.

These few days changed a lot of my life for both I and my daughter had Dengue. My daughter by God's grace did not have a very serious problem but my situation was very serious. Till Friday evening no one would tell by looking at me that I was having a serious attack of Dengue. My fever had stopped and I was feeling quite okay. But when I blood report came everyone panicked, my palette count was 25,000. My Physician out of panic gave me medication for Malaria which caused me to breakout in rash. I was forced by my brother in law to be hospitalized, and the moment I signed the check in papers I collapsed there due to weakness, my count went up and even lower (to 19000). Yet in those difficult moments the Lord's Hand was over me and within 4 days I was discharged with being administered only saline, medicine for fever and for the allergy. The day I was discharged my daughter was admitted in the same hospital.

When I went through this I knew the Lord was chastising me and even in this chastising He was teaching me amazing things and as promised showed His glorious Hand over me. It was only in the afternoon I realized that I was to go through this but that was not the case with my daughter. The sickness was trying to spread its roots because we were thinking logically. Immediately my spirit woke up and even before I rebuked it my daughter started being normal. We did have to wait for two days before the doctor allowed her to be discharged and she was not administered saline or an injection even once.

During all this there were people around who thought all kind of crazy things specially my close family for I am the first one to come out of the Catholic Church. During that time when I was crying unto the Lord the message to me was the same as the Lord has given us today.

Trust in the Lord and you will never be disappointed. Forces visible or invisible will not be able do any harm more than what the Lord allows and for the duration the Lord allows. During this time the Lord will keep you and strengthen you. Those who do evil or injustice towards you will be cut out like hay or will wither like small sprouted grass having no evil fruit to harm you.
