It is time to Cry and Wail

Ezekiel 21:12,13 [NKJV] - "Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. "Because it is a testing, And what if the sword despises even the scepter? The scepter shall be no more," says the Lord GOD.

Why do we have problems?

The Word of God says if we do not have problems, man is such, will forget God and who God is. So to remind man his own position and who created him; God needs to create a situation beyond his control. Only when things are beyond him does man turn to God.

The problems will be more on those who know the Living God and are drifting away than the others. These problems are not punishment but testing times, they are not for destroying but to bring back, they are not because God hates his people but because He loves them.

So let each of us realize how much we have drifted away from God and thus with repentance and sorrow in our hearts let us turn back to Him. Let us give Him the due position and importance in our lives.

Father God, we know You love us and because of your love You chastise us. Merciful God, help us open our eyes and know who we are in You. Help us receive all the precious things You have kept in store for us. Help us overcome the foolishness we are pursuing in this life and things we are trying to build and collect for ourselves - just vanity. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
