Understanding the Law in Spirit

Luke 6:9,10,11 -
9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

Jesus said that He kept every Word of the Prophets and thus was without sin. Yet we find here that He did something which seems to go against the Word which was given through Moses.

What was given through Moses was not Moses' word, it was God's Word, and break the Law which came through Moses also meant break the Commandment of God and thus was a sin. Even today every Commandment given through Moses still stands.

But what we need to understand is like here we see the people's anger against Jesus was justified for according to them He had broken the Law. What they did not understand was the Law itself. Although the Law was given through the ages from Adam onwards, it was in Christ alone that the understanding of the Law was revealed.

So to judge it someone breaks or does not break the Law, we need to first understand the Law. Like in this case Jesus kept the Law of Sabbath, yet He was doing His work on that Day.

Only when knows the meaning of Sabbath will one understand why Jesus continued to work and yet kept the Sabbath. It is Christ Who reveals the Sabbath and kept the Sabbath since ancient (since creation), and is therefore called the Lord of the Sabbath.

We like the people here we too debate on the Law of God only because we use our earthly wisdom to understand it. The only way to understand it is through Heavenly wisdom, wisdom which reveals the Kingdom of God and which is given to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. It is the Spirit of Truth, Who reveals the inside out of the Word of God, the hidden things of God and the Spirit of Truth is a promise to all who believe in Jesus Christ.

So if we lack in understanding of the Word, we need to just claim the Spirit of Truth and more of the Holy Spirit will be given unto us.

Lord Jesus, You have given us the Promise of the Spirit of Truth unto everyone who believes in You. Lord we pray for your people who in darkness due to lack of understanding of the Word and ignorant of your promise. We pray Lord that your Spirit fall on each and everyone who reads this and more and more of the Word be revealed unto them...

Mark 2:25-18
25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

John 14:16-20
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John 15:26-27
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others. (All rights are with God)
