Pray for the Messengers

Romans 10: 15, 16 - And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Over the years many have been talking about Jesus; preaching and teaching the Word of God, but yet we had very few true messengers.

People since ages have been adapting the Word for mankind not the other way adapting mankind to the Word. When a doctor gives a prescription he knows what, why and how it is needed for the patient, thus changing anything will not get the desired result.

People think the Word of God will bring peace among mankind and all things will be alright - this is the first lie. Let me tell you things will be the other way around, try it and see for yourself, people close to you will not like you if you start to speak the truth always. Truth hurts, its convicts many of his or her doings and no one likes that.

The first purpose of the Word of God and the main reason that Jesus died for us is to make peace between God and man and not between man and man. Man has been suffering all because the anger of God and the curse of God were on man. Jesus is called the Prince of Peace not the King of Peace. Peace is only in the hands of God and He alone can give peace. Jesus was man on earth and is the chief messenger of peace. We as His disciples just carry His message of peace to others. It is this message if received will bring peace between God and man and among those who receive it. But those who do not like it will hate you even more.

The Word of God like an antibiotic is anti-world. It is actually not against this world but the infection of this world. But the problem is that the infection is so deep in this world that people have lost sense of what is the truth and what is the infection. For them the infection has become their world and if you touch that area they will hate you.

Do not even remotely think that once you have the Word of God in you all things around you will be perfect. If Jesus Who was perfect, for Him things were not perfect, then how will it be for us?

What is important is not what happens here but where we will go. We are just passing through this temporary world and are made really for the world which Jesus has opened the door to and to which the Holy Spirit will lead us to. Even the Word of God (the Book of Instruction) which is Truth and unshakable is also not permanent. It too has to return back to God doings its work like the Jesus Christ the Son of God will return as God the Son in His glory to the Father.

The message for today asks us to pray for true messenger, who bring the truth to us, even though we like it or not. Let us bless them and pray for them and many pray that our hearts are changed to receive the Truth.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, through time You have been sending your chosen ones to mankind to guide us to the truth. Today Lord we need them more than ever, so we lift our eyes unto You and to your Mountains in Heaven, where You are seated in all your glory, Lord send us your elect, your chosen ones who bring your message in Truth. Work in us Lord and strengthen us that we hold on to the Truth...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40 He that receiveth you [speaking to His disciples] receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
