The red alert of Zechariah

Book of Zechariah


Zechariah was a Prophet who lived during the times of Jeremiah, Daniel and other great Men of God. The book of Zechariah is a High Voltage book. If dealt with correctly it is of powerful help but if on the wrong side it can electrocute a person dangerously.

The book of Zechariah talks more on the coming of Jesus Christ and of the end times going into great details of them. It also talks about the phases the world goes through after Jesus. Many revelations which John the writer of the book of Revelation got was from meditation on the Word given via the Prophet Zechariah.

Some of the main highlights of the book concerning our times and times ahead are as follow:

1) The four chariots: The colored horses depicting the phases of changes the world will go through.
2) Lampstand and the 2 Olive trees: The Lampstand symbolizes the Holy Spirit and the 2 olive trees symbolize the 2 witnesses at the ends days who are the last holders of the Spirit of God and after whom the world will be destroyed (Rainbow - God's Covenant with Noah).
3) Prosperity of Zion: The phase in between the Day of the Lord and end times when the true glorious Church of God will be seen.
4) Prophecies against neighboring nations: These are not nations against whom it is prophesied, but religions and believes contrary to God.
5) Doomed flock: The destruction of the false church / Babylon / the institute.
6) Exposure of the false prophets: This is the time and people of Zion who will know the Word. They will catch anyone who tries to deceive them with another word.

Among all these, the one prophesy of Zechariah which is a red alert to all is about the actual number of people among believers, who will be saved (enter Heaven) and that number is one out of three believers (Zech 13:8,9).

Everyone that believes in Jesus Christ will be saved from hell but it is not necessary that he or she will enter Heaven. It is only those who abide by the Word (whatever or as much is revealed to them) will enter the Kingdom of God and remaining will be thrown in the lake of fire / sulphur, made for Satan and his angels. In short the ratio between goat and sheep is going to be 2:1 respectively.

It was this reason that Paul a much anointed Man of God still wrote that he worked to his salvation with fear and trembling. If Paul had concerns then how much should we?

The only One who can assure that we receive the salvation that Jesus Christ made available for us is the Power that worked unto His Resurrection and that is the Holy Spirit.

So if we want to be one of the three then we need to be in the Holy Spirit, baptized in the Holy Spirit and being led by the Holy Spirit

Lord God, before creation Satan bought one third of the host of Heaven down with him, but when You showed father Abraham the stars as his descendants, You also showed him the one third which will be part of New Temple which is rebuild. Lord as the time of great harvest is near we pray for all those near and dear to us that they too be among the sheep and not the goats...

Philippians 2:12-16

Matthew 25:31-34,41,46

Genesis 15:3-6

Matthew 22:30
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others. (All rights are with God)
