Call unto Me and I will answer

Jeremiah 33:3 - Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

During those times the Israelites were in very bad shape and the Lord spoke to them through the Prophet Jeremiah to call on Him and He would bless them. The Israelites did not really listen so their blessings they did not receive.

Today the same message is coming to the real Israelites - God's people; asking them to call on His Name and He will bless them and show them mighty things; things they did not conceive in their widest dreams. Are we going to be like those Israelites and loose this opportunity?

Just yesterday I received a call from a sister who is a Hindu and receives the mails from www.savedbyfaith.info. She would read the mails daily without fail, but yesterday it so happened that she was in troubled waters and had given interviews at various places but did not get any response. Being depressed, as she was reading the mail it said to open one's mouth and speak out and this she did so loudly. In some time the phone rang and she received the call she was waiting for. When she spoke this to me I would sense the joy in her and I too rejoiced.

You may be in various situations, level in faith, or in your spiritual doings; it does not matter. The Lord knows you and your past, but He loves you He is willing to overlook all that and bless you mightily, if you just call on His Name. So open your mouth and along with your heart call on Him.

Lord God, You are a loving Father and your mercy knows no ends. Your Word says You want to bless me abundantly, so Almighty God by your Word which You gave me today I call on your most high Name, by the Name I know from my brother and Lord Jesus Christ. O loving Father hear me and answer me according to thy Word. Amen.

2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
