You shall never perish, nor any man or spirit puck you out of His Hand

John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

We all think that the eternal life which Jesus Christ made available for us is only receivable after our body dies. But today as I went into the depth of the word 'eternal life', I learned it talks about an excellent life even when we are in this body.

All think that suffering is a part of Christian life. The scriptures clearly say that the suffering is for some time, that some time is now getting over. Soon no Christian in any part of the world even in India, Pakistan or Middle East need to suffer if this truth gets into you.

We were given a promise but our ignorance did not allow us to receive it. Today as the Lord has revealed this promise let us meditate on it and claim it, for it assures that we will not perish.

The word 'man' is not part of the original text; it was added for readability purpose. So the scripture defines not only man but also any spirit, including Satan.

The grammar of the word 'perish' is partly conditional and the condition is about remaining in His Hand. The Hand of God refers to the Spirit of God. If we remain in the Holy Spirit no man or spirit, including Satan can not touch us or do any harm to us in any way.

So let us be in His Hand and let us claim the excellent life which is promised to us and let us look at the problem coming against us in its face and tell it - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I AM IN THE HAND OF MY GOD AND YOU CAN NOT HARM ME.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are Almighty and Omnipotent. According to your Word, You have made available great things for us. But our ignorance has deprived us from receiving it. Your people suffer due to the lack of knowledge. Today, Father as your Spirit revealed this promise to us, help us surrender to your Spirit and receive the abundant life You have made available for us. For, we are your people, people of the Living God. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Roman 8:18-23
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Hosea 4:6a
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,...

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
