Man, who is your King?

1 Samuel 10:19-24
19 And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.
20 And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
21 When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
22 Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.
23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.
24 And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.

When a building is in dire state very few people see the problem in the RCC structure, like pillars and beams, most people look at the cracks in the walls to determine the state of the building. Cracks in the walls do not necessarily mean the building will fall, but when the pillars and beams start to fail then the cracks will surely develop. In the start they may be hairline cracks, but mostly the collapsing happens so very fast that at times they leave very little time for the people dwelling in the building to evacuate, only a person having a keen sense of observation and knowledge of the field would know exactly how much time that building would stand or which part will collapse first.

Today we see Christianity spreading at a very high speed and many people coming to the knowledge of the True God and His Christ. Every person knows as a building starts growing the foundation starts getting really tested. People are happy when they see the Church growing but many do not see that its structural frame and foundation is not very strong to stand great load.

People may think the splitting of the Church into denominations is something very bad that happened to the Church. But only when one knows the wisdom of God, one will realize if it was not for various denominations the Church would not have lasted this long.

In today's message we see the Lord selected a person like Saul to lead His people as king when they rejected Him as King. Even though Saul was the best among all the Israelites at that time, we all know how Saul really was inside, but had it not been for a person like Saul being king then David would not have been the David we know. It took a person like Saul to have a hand in the moulding of David and making his heart according to the Lord's. If Saul had continued to be king of the people and had David not come into the picture the Israelites would not have lasted long and maybe not survived at all. So we see as much David was necessary for Israel, so also Saul was necessary for David.

Today due to denominations the Churches are growing in the horizontal direction that is why it exists and is able to grow. Had the Believer Church been united as one and been at the spiritual level it is today, it would have surely collapsed this growth.

Today the state of spiritual growth of our Churches is very bad and not strong to last the rate of growth it is experiencing, or will experience. There is a very urgent need to strengthen the structural foundation and structural frame of the Church and very, very few people are noticing it and even fewer at doing something about it.

The very basic understandings of the Church are not surefooted or firm. They are all on shaky grounds or on false understanding. Even though Believers came out of the Catholic Church yet they carried with them many traditions and teachings of that Church, so the mark of the Beast continued on the people.

Very, very few Christians know who their King is and who their King of Kings is. If they do not know who leads them, then who are they following? This is the very reason at certain stage most land up following some man who comes in the name of the Lord.

Church, it is time the Elders and Leaders of the various Churches wakeup and test their every belief with the Word of God and see if it is founded on a firm foundation or not. People think they know the Bible in and out and there is no need to set a team of people apart to research and strengthen the Church's foundation like Paul did with a group of people even though he was highly mature in the knowledge and understanding of the things of the Kingdom of God for he really knew what he knew was very little.

We need to strengthen our foundation at a very emergency note for it to stand the test the things that are to come.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, even though we are growing and the harvest is indeed coming in, yet Lord the people who are the hem of running things are themselves not on a firm foundation. They lack the knowledge and understanding of your Kingdom. When they themselves are shaky then how are they to be Pastors / Shepherds to led the flock to green pastures? Heal your Bride Lord bring people and open doors for people who would strengthen your House...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Luke 6:47-49
47 "Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
48 "He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.
49 "But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great."

2 Timothy 4:9-13
9 Be diligent to come to me quickly;
10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica -Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia.
11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.
12 And Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.
13 Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come - and the books, especially the parchments.

1 Corinthians 13:9-12
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
