Presence of the Lord

Exodus 33:14 - And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.


There is something which I hear at most of the worship sessions or at services.

"Let us come into the presence of the Lord" or "the presence of the Lord is here".

Come on people; is there any place where anyone can be able to hide from the Lord? The Lord is everywhere and at every time and every moment in our live our Lord is present before us, it is another thing that we are not aware of His presence.

What separates us believers from others is the glory of God which manifests on us. At the worship sessions and at the service sessions we as a congregation long to see the glory of God among us.

It was the glory of God that manifested itself with the Israelites and it is only the glory of God if it manifests on us, will identify us as the chosen people. This does not happen because we people are a selfish lot. We mostly look at glorifying ourselves not truly working only for the glory of God.

Let us all lift our hand and shout - Glory, Glory, Glory unto You Lord, You alone Lord are worthy of all praise and glory. Let the world see You Lord as a Pillar of Cloud leading us and as a Pillar of Fire protecting us. Let the world know You alone are the Living and True God.

This glory of God is not seen on us mainly because of one reason - we lack fruit. It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit which draws the Holy Spirit more and more in us.

Till date it was only due to the mercy and grace of Lord Jesus Christ that the Holy Spirit has not left us.
Let us give Lord the pleasure to with us by growing His fruit in us. The more the Lord痴 glory is on us the more will we be at peace.

Lord God, You are God. You are worthy of all praise. Let your glory fill the earth and let it be shown on your people. Lord we want the world to know that we are your people therefore we pray Lord that your glory be on us and that we dwell always in your glory...

12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others. (All rights are with God)
