The Alpha and Omega

Revelation 1:8 - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

The words Alpha and Omega are the first and the last alphabets of the Greek language. The Lord specified Himself as the first and the last alphabets to emphasis in very basis sense that in the very root that all things are about Him. Life itself is connected with Him and we live only because of Him.

We may have great plans in our lives but let us ask ourselves, is our life rooted around the Lord? If it is not rooted around the Lord, then we are just hallucinating ourselves. Our life on earth is just like a day of our lives, have we thought of the rest part of our lives or are we only bothered of that one day? On who or what have we based our life on? Is it the Lord, His Word or it is a dream that just disappear when the sleep breaks?

It is time we all wake up and ask ourselves this question.

Lord Jesus, bring me to realization that my life is because of You and for You. Let me understand in my every though and action that I have to be rooted to You or else I just live a dream that does not exist. Let not this temporary physical world let me forget the real spiritual world. I ask this prayer in Your mighty Name, Amen
