I can do all things

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

This scripture peps everyone to go ahead and do all things in faith; but there are many who will say that they tried and they did not succeed. Did they lack faith? Maybe. But all those who abided by the scripture they had sure success.

If we look at the scripture closely, the Greek word used for 'through' is 'en' which occurs 2801 times in the the New Testament. Of these it has been translated as the following times: in 1902, by 163, with 140, among 117, at 113, on 62, through 39, misc 265.

Replacing the word 'through' with 'in' makes the scripture a sure success.

So next time we have plans to do something great, something impossible; let us ask ourselves firstly am I abiding in Christ, secondly are my desires in line with Christ' desires for me? Putting our plans in-line with God's plans for us will make our plans a success.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, You are true and your Word is true. Lord I have many desires but due to my short sightedness I do not know if they are good or bad on the long run. Lord, You know what is good for me and You have confirmed in your Word that all your plans for me are good and for my prosperity. Lord, change my plans to your plans so that I may be a success. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
