Do all worship the child born?

Matthew 2:8 - And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

I had put in my previous post about the Birth of Jesus Christ being in September and this was celebrated by the shadow feast the Lord had asked us to celebrate so as to understand and honour the Lord for what He had done by coming as man.

All the feasts the Israelites celebrated were shadows of things connected with Jesus Christ. The feast that shadows the coming of Jesus Christ as man is the Feast of the Tabernacle also called the Feast of Booths / Tents. It is a feast that is celebrated over a period of a week. This year it is celebrated from 19th September to 25th September. During this feast people leave their houses and dwell in tents with their families for the Lord came as man and dwelled in a temporary body of flesh as a man.

I knew some years back with confirmations that ChristMass was not to do with the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ but had no idea of the actual date. It was only after a period the Lord confirmed this through the understanding of scriptures. This year the Lord desires we start to celebrate the Lord's coming as man so that the Jews also know the Truth. This feast is a grand event for them but they are ignorant of what they are celebrating. Then there are the Catholics who celebrate a pagan feast [the birth of the Sun god] as the Lord's Birthdate and the blind people of this world join them justifying their ignorance.

In today's message we see Herod also stated a desire to worship / honour the great child King. But his real intentions were not to honour the child Jesus but to do away with Him. This is exactly what Christians do when they celebrate ChristMass. They give great justification for celebrating it in the name of Jesus Christ but all they do, has nothing to do with Christ but to gratify their carnal desires of worldly fun, shopping, partying, merry making, materialistic gratification, the very opposite the Feast of Tents that celebrates the birth of Jesus, stands for.

The Lord is asking us are we going to be like the magi who went by the sign given by the Lord and thus truly honoured the infant Jesus, or be like Herod who went by asking man/signs of man with wrong intentions. Let us stop being Herod.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, we pray that the blindfolds that are bond on the eyes of your people fall. We pray that their eyes open and they come of the deceit. Lord, through the feast You desire your people learn and understand the things connected with it. We pray that your sacrifice of humbling and coming of man be known to man through the celebration of the Feast of Tents...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
