Righteousness through Blood

Romans 4:6,7,8 - Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Christians still get a lump in their throat when a person inquires about why a loving and merciful God needs a blood sacrifice. So much so that He was satisfied only by the Blood of His own Son.

In Galatians Paul wrote of the 9 Fruit(s) of the Holy Spirit but when we read in Revelation in the Garden of Paradise the Tree of Life is described further to have twelve Fruits and leaves which heal.

What are these twelve Fruits?

These are the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. In fact the whole of Heaven is based on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. The twelve precious stones of which Heaven is created each of them represent a Fruit of the Holy Spirit. They are the same stones which were placed on the breast plate of the High Priest which represented the twelve tribes of Israel (it had been since a year and a half that I had been persistent with the Lord to reveal me this and just a week back in His grace He did).

Among the 3 Fruits which Paul did not account for was the foundation Fruit - Righteousness which is represented by the precious stone jasper. Person knowing gemology would know that jasper is also called 'blood stone'.

The 3 Fruits were those which man lost when Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden when he ate of the fruit of doubt (good and bad). These 3 Fruits cannot be grown or earned by man. Righteousness therefore cannot be earned and being represented by blood can be received only by the shedding of blood. That does not mean any blood. We cannot receive righteousness by the shedding the blood of animals or of just any human.

In the Old Testament shedding the blood of animals was only symbolic and even the shedding of blood of thousands of animals did not earn them righteousness. They only reminded God of the Sacrifice which was yet to be made and earned them peace.

To earn righteousness a perfect Blood was required and only human blood which free of all blemish is perfect. If one gets into the niceties of the human blood one will find the perfect image of the Word of God in it. Since this perfect Blood has already been shed for us, we do not shed any blood as sacrifice.

David knew how blessed we were since we were children of the Day, children of Light. We are called blessed because we can receive true righteousness for the perfect Blood of Jesus which had been shed for us as an offering for our sins gaining us the Fruit of Righteousness. Which coverth us and makes us sons of God.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, we thank You for in your mercy You let man receive righteousness which man lost due to sin. You went all the way that You came as man and shed your perfect Blood for us. Lord Jesus we thank You and call ourselves blessed all because of You. We pray Lord that we do not reject this Blood which You have shed for us so that we may live and receive eternal life...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
