It is the Lord Who shall make you great

Genesis 12:2 - And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Since a few days I have been debating with a Muslim about the Bible and the Quran. This person has read the Bible and is well knowledgeable of the Quran. He is well versed with the Bible then many Christians. There are some things that I can debate on with him but there are so many things which are beyond any human's ability to do so.

Before I came into the Lord I too had read the Bible and found it hard to believe. It was because others were following it, so also did I. But it was only when my spiritual eyes opened like Paul's did when he became Paul from Saul, then I could see how perfect the Word of God is.

You can make a blind person feel the shape of any object or even feel the texture of it but can you make a blind person understand colours. A person in the flesh can only know things of the flesh. It is impossible to teach a spiritually blind person things pertaining to spirit. So I learnt not to break my head too much on it and wait for the right time when the Lord sets the land just right to sow the seed. Till then I till in whatever small way I can.

I also like to share with you when I was not even come into the Lord I came across a Prophetess who prophesized over me that I would become famous. Since that time I tried different things to make it big in the world and all of them though were fantastic ideas or opportunities, all of them failed.

It was only when I came into the Lord I was given visions that my being great was not to do with this world but to do with the spiritual world.

Then I started to imagine and tried to pursue to be like the famous evangelists. But then something else happened. When I was lead by the Lord to start websites to preach and teach the Gospel (God News) and the Word of God (Prophesied Word) the Lord told me to keep my name out of it. I thought how will I become famous if people do not know me?

In fact one of the pen names I go by in one of my sites created a lot of problems for me for nearly two years because of people's lack of understanding of scriptures.

But it is only the vision that the Lord has given me which keeps me going even today.

If you want to make it big in God's Kingdom learn to be humble and submit to God, know that it is the Lord who does all things not you or me. We can use all the worldly knowledge, talents and connections but they will all one day fail. You may be nobody and may think you have nothing to offer for the Kingdom of God then you are perfect to become great in God's Kingdom.

Moses use to stammer and he became the mouth of God for his people. Abraham had no hope to have even one son, and He is the father of nations. David was looked down by his brothers and he became one of the greatest kings. Jeremiah was considered like a mad person and it is his prophesies by which Daniel and we come to know a lot of the future.

God will give you the nations if you give yourself unto Him.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, You are Almighty God. It is You who created this world and set all things. Time is also a factor which You created. All things including time abide by You. Lord, You have great plans for your people and You lift the humble to great heights. Help us Lord to surrender ourselves unto You and unto your Kingdom, so that we do not just better in this world but great in your Kingdom...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
