The Revelation

Revelation 1:3 - Blessed he that readeth [know accurately], and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time at hand.

Before I get to the message I like to touch on the book of Revelation. People think the John who wrote the book of Revelation in a prison was John the Apostle. I too considered that until I started understanding callings and distinguishing the callings of a person. After understanding that when I looked at the book of Revelation it did not look as a work of an Apostle nor of a Prophet to be prophecies but more of a work of a Teacher revealing the revelations of prophecies already declared/written. This we can understand by the fact that this book is compared with the book of Daniel and Daniel received the dreams as he was meditating on the writing of Jeremiah and others. I having a similar calling have experienced the same as Daniel therefore I am very confident that this book was not written by John the Apostle but by another John. This was later confirmed to me from carbon dating of this book to be many years after the era of the Apostles. We also know John had a special purpose in the Lord therefore he was the only one who was saved from being a martyr, he was miraculously saved when he was put in a pot of boiling oil and this did not happen to the other Apostles. God surely did not save him to die in a jail for the last chapter of the Gospel of john gives a clue of the plan God had for him. Also he would not have lived for 100+ years in a prison to write this book. If one compares the style of writing of the Gospel of John or the letters of John with this book one would be assured of what I am stating, that the writers or narrators of these books are not the same.

Another fact I like to bring out about this book that it is like a jumbled jigsaw puzzle and only when we go to the root of the visions, that is the books of Moses, the Prophets & the Gospel of John, when we get to their roots then only will we be able to put them in the right timeline.

Now coming to today's message based on this background. The Lord is saying blessed is the person who understands this book in its true understanding and accurately puts the Prophecies explained in this book in its true place in the timeline of creation.

This message I can reassure you for I have been very blessed as the Lord opened these facts to me. I could easily discern the wise men of this world who preach God's Word according to their own worldly understanding. It also helped and helps me prepare for many events in advance. It does hold most of the most important events con concerning the Church and the salvation of its people, also a good preview of what is set forth for us in Heaven.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, your Word says your people suffer due to lack of understanding of your Kingdom, today's message reaffirms us the same saying blessed in the man who walks in the light of right knowledge and understanding of the things of your Kingdom. We pray Lord, that more and more seek the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of your Kingdom and be saved from the corrupted knowledge of this world...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

John 21:20-24
20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

1 John 2:1-7
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

Revelation 1:1-6
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 21:16-21
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
