Die unto Christ to have everlasting life

Colossians 3:1-3 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Today I received the same scripture which I received yesterday.

You may have read what I wrote in my yesterday's message about death and resurrection. When the Lord revealed this to me, I did not have difficulty in accepting it because my heart and life I had given unto Christ.

But when I removed my head out of the Word of God and into this world I was afraid and questions started coming to my head, how will I come to face with this world having this truth? Who is going to be with me or support me, when so many are misled? Is it that I am the one who is lost?

Since I knew I had no other hope but Christ I stuck to what the Lord revealed to me. Then as time passed the Lord confirmed this understanding to me with further revelations from the Word. Today I am very clear about this understanding and can put my life on it.

Unless we do not surrender ourselves completely to Christ we will have nothing to do with Christ. We will be like the rich man who approached Jesus, although he lived a good life according to the world and the law he had nothing to do with the kingdom of God because he did not want to surrender all unto Jesus. We become as good as the trees; they do not harm people and also do their two bits for mankind, but God has no role for them in His plan of Salvation. God did not make us to be like them, He made us to be like Him.

The image of God in which we were created and was damaged in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned, we need to regain that complete image in us, to do that we need to imitate Him.

I wish I could openly share with you how beautiful God has made us but when the time comes I surely will; for I do not want to share what I know but what God wants you to know.

God wanted you to the truth which was revealed to you and now is your test to prove your love for Him are you going to surrender to Him or be like the rich man who turned back and lost everything in the Kingdom of Heaven.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Father God, You are a loving God. You reveal things unto your children for You want them to come into light. Bring us from the dawn unto noon, right under the light of your Son. Encourage our heart and let your grace be upon us that we may not be lost unto the wolves in sheep clothing...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]
Matthew 16:24-28
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Matthew 19:16-26
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
