You are precious in the eyes of God

Isaiah 43:4 - Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

When the Lord spoke to Jacob in Isaiah 41:14, He called him a worm, yet the Lord calls him precious. Jacob symbolized the un-redeemed man and Israel the redeemed man, although the names were of the same person, but for the Lord they were still two different persons. We can see this in many of the scripture wherein both are referred together. We all are like worms but when we acknowledge God, we become precious in Him eyes, He goes through any extend then to take care of us and save us.

You and I did not choose to be born in a believer family or choose to know the Lord. It was the Lord who chose that we know Him. We were like Jacob and now since we know Him and those who are baptized in Him have now become Israel the redeemed man, who is precious in His sight.

If you are sitting in a garden you will take precaution not to harm any ant or insect. But if you are travelling on to job, you do not look down to see if you are stamping any insect under your feet. Your concentration is your job.

When the Lord finds us precious in His site He can give up or crush any number of worms for us. He will not hold back any level of damage to make sure that we are safe and satisfied. Even a thousand or million people are no comparison to Jesus, yet for you and I God gave up His only Son to save us. We need to know this and have faith in Him.
