Why is there evil around me?

Matthew 5:44,45 - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Among the people in the Bible who suffered and expressed themselves most are David and Job. Had they not gone through those periods of molding they would not have being the beautiful characters they became. Their periods of suffering, fighting their own nature and building character, stands as a testimony for all of us.

Like one person put it we can nail our own feet and our one hand on our cross but for the other hand we will surely need help and for that many of us can count on our 'near and dear' ones.

When God made man, God already knew what man is going to do and therefore wrote the Bible in full. God tolerates and also gives unto the unrighteous as He gives to the righteous. He knows at the end all things will be settled for good. Therefore, we knowing our real enemy should pray for the ones who are used as instruments to get to us that they do not be on the wrong side at the end.

In one way if some of them were not there in our lives we would not have got an opportunity to overcome our selves. That does not mean we thank God for this, but we should pray for the strength, mercy and grace to overcome.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are a merciful God and You know all things. Lord, give us the grace to overcome ourselves and to be molded like You. Give us the wisdom to discern and understand every situation. Let your truth be always there in us for us to hold on to ...

We ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
