God's Grace

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; - (Titus 2:11-12)

Nothing can happen in this world without God permitting it. He is the Creator of life and death. He arranges all that was and is to be. Jesus said, 'Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered' (Matthew 10:30). God holds every moment in His hands. Since He is in control, then why doesn't He just teach us our lessons and mature us instantly? Why must we suffer?

When God made the world He gave us dominion over it. It means in the Spirit world God has given us everything we need but by the control He has given us over our soul (heart, mind, will etc..) we make the decisions to receive them in our body (world). God does this so that we can experience His grace. Because of our love for self, God must refine us and put us through or allows us to go through trials in order to strengthen our faith. God does not directly change our hearts but touches our circumstances to change our hearts. Sufferings in this life open our eyes to our weaknesses and sin. It's selfish to desire perfection without picking up our cross. His grace gives us the power to say no to our sin and to rise above our struggles.

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5). If we submit to our trials and allow them to humble us, God will give us grace to overcome.

God's grace remains a mystery of faith. Tell God that you want to overcome the trials in your life and He will allow His grace to increase.

[ Prayer for the Day ]

Dear God, You have made me because You love me. It is because of this love You do not want to loose me, therefore You chastise me. You also provide me the grace to overcome them. You do not allow me to put through trails more than I can take. I trust in You and You will take me over them on eagles wings. I pray this in Jesus' Name. Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]

Romans 6:1-4
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 2:1-6
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Genesis 1:27-28
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
