Be diligent

Deuteronomy 2:1 - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

Being good is very much possible but being good consistently is nearly impossible.

True love does not only mean doing a great thing for a short time but doing even an average thing for a long time.

Jesus' love for us was manifested on the Cross but His true love was shown by the fact He loved us even before we knew Him. The greatness of His love was shown to us when He risked everything by coming in the flesh and kept Himself without blemish.

Being diligent is not at all easy and I can say that because even a small thing like sending these mails daily is not at all easy. It is not the matter of writing something and mailing it. If these mails do not have God's Word power then there is no benefit in sending them.

If they have to have God's Word power then I too need to come in a worthy manner to the Altar from where I serve. This is one of the reasons at times I am not able to send the mail on some days (this is a clue for you; if you do not receive my mail then either I am very busy, not able to access my mail or I need your prayers).

We may fall at times but we need to keep fighting to keep coming back on our feet and keep serving. This is not achieved totally by our efforts but by God's grace which holds us up, like the frame which holds up the grapevine.

Be diligent and the Lord will increase your harvest by giving the nations unto you.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, forgive us for the times we operated in our flesh. We let You down and risked your sheepfold. Lord, by ourselves we cannot do all that You have set forth for us, but by your Spirit all things are possible unto us. Holy Spirit we totally surrender unto You, guide us and by the grace of Lord Jesus Christ bring us back on the path when we fall...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
