The Lord is my Helper

Hebrew 13:6 - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper <998>, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

In the scripture the Greek word for 'helper' < Strong 998 > is 'boethos' pronounced 'bo-ay-thos'. It is made of two words 'theo' which means 'run' and 'boe' which means 'cry'. So the deeper meaning of 'boethos' means the one who comes running when we cry out to. We always have been thinking why the Lord does not come to our help; there is something we need to ask our selves, have we cried out to Him? If we want the Lord to coming running to our help let us like little children who cry out to our mother, cry out to the Lord from our hearts and I am sure He will coming running to us.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, in my troubles I have looked out for You, but I have failed to cry out to You like a child. Lord I ask You according to your Word come running to my help for like a child I cry from my heart; FATHER SAVE ME. Help me from my troubles and my weaknesses that draw me away from You. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
