Be Holy for your God is Holy

Psalms 96:9 - O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

We use the word 'holy' very often but fail to realize the depth of this word. Being holy means being separated, being unadulterated by the world, dedicated to goodness or being a temple within one's self.

God the Father is Holy and therefore all creation sings before Him - Holy Holy Holy.

We are the children of God and when we worship (actively and unconditional surrender ourselves to) Him. We are trying to get ourselves to be one with Him. If He is Holy them we need to separate ourselves from this worldly infection (not just in body but firstly in spirit), fighting the ills of and the understandings of this world while living in it. So that we becoming holy can become a testimony unto others, thus bring more and more unto the Father.

To fight this world and be Holy, we do not have to do it with our own efforts but by the power of the Holy Spirit (yesterday's mail). The only efforts on our part, is tapping into the power of the Holy Spirit. Our God is with us, to help us to be like Him - Holy.


[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are Holy and all creation cries unto 'Holy, Holy, Holy are You God'. Like You are Holy, You want us your children too be Holy, so that we can come unto You. Father, help me by your Spirit that I may overcome this world and pursue Holiness. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
