Lord is not your eternal punching bag

Isaiah 55:6 - Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

People have not come to really know God, therefore do not change their ways. They think God is love and only love, and therefore also think they can continue their sinful ways and God will still save them and take them to Heaven.

Lord humbled himself, came as man Jesus and became an eternal sacrifice for us; by this the Lord showed His love for us. But also remember Jesus Himself warned the next time when He comes down from Heaven as man He will come to judge the good and the wicket.

Along with love our God is also a righteous God. By the ransom Jesus paid for us He has adopted us as sons, but that is no guaranty to enter Heaven. We may be saved from Hell but not from the Lake of sulphure (fire).

We may say the Judgment day is far away, from centuries it has been spoken of and yet they speak of it.

Let's assume, even if the Judgment day is not in our lifetime, yet after our death can we do anything to change the judgment against us, can we repent or believe after death? Our repentance and building faith, reaping of harvest etc. has to be done while we are alive. It is by God's grace that we are able to see this day and get a change to repent and change our ways today. Tomorrow, there maybe few who may not see the next morning Sun.

God is not an eternal punching bag that we can continue to hurt Him by sinning. The day He pulls our plug we will not get any further opportunity to repent or turn to Him. So while you and I are alive and our hearts are still in a position to change, let us change our ways to the ways of the Lord and draw closer to Him.

Like I warned in my 31st mail for the New Year, we have walked into a time wherein our Lord is going to start taking action for our doings. He is now going to accelerate things around us and bring us to a state of decision - accept or reject. Those who try to keep their foot in both places, He will vomit them out and the maximum action is with them, for the whole world to see. The shaking of Samaria (means Rocky Mountains - people with loose understanding of God and the truth) is at hand.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, may your mercy flow in abundance as You shake up your children to turn unto You. Lord, You have written about the seasons till the ends of days in your Word. We pray your children be enlightened in your Word and tighten their girdle and choose your ways and not the world's ways...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]
John 5:24-30
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

When you read the books of Hosea, Amos & Obadiah especially, understand the Lord is writing about the times ahead with spiritual emphasis to the word's meanings. Put these means into the scripture and then you will get better understanding of what the Lord is telling us.

Samaria [means 'Rocky Mountains' - people with loose understanding of God and the truth]
Assyria [means 'steps' - people who are more concern with worldly prosperity and progress]
Ephraim [means 'I shall be doubly fruitful' - people who have come to know of God, have experienced his glory and yet have taken Him for granted]
Egypt [means 'double strait' - children of God who live a dual life, worshiping the almighty God and also the gods of this world]
Israel [Isra means 'prince' and El means 'God' - Israel means 'Princes of God' - people whom God called to be His people]
Juddah – [means 'praised' - selected lot from Israel, people who are called to witness for the Lord]

Hosea 8:1-14
1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
2 Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.
3 Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
4 They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
5 Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
6 For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
7 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
8 Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
9 For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
10 Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.
11 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
14 For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

Hosea 13:9-16
9 O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
10 I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?
11 I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath.
12 The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.
13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
