Speaking in the native dialect

Acts 22:2 - (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)

In India we have officially more than 1600 dialects and when we speak to people, if we converse in their native language we are more acceptable to them. Doing business in India many a times give a person slight advantage if one know the native language of the customer. People love to group together in clans of their own kinds.

This is one of the reasons that to unfold the truth God had to come as man and be like man so that people (some at least) would accept the truth and walk the path.

It is very difficult to accept someone not speaking our language, our thinking, our understanding and knowing this God wrote the Bible the way it is so that man does not get destroyed by the sudden revelation of the Truth. God builds us in fruit (s) and also our immunity towards sin so that when the Truth comes in its fullness it will not destroy us.

Man has always resisted breaking the shell of his own world and changing into a better person. Man knows in his heart that walking the path of truth will be at a cost of the pleasures of the flesh. These pleasures are so dear to man that he risks his salvation for it.

To be like Jesus we need to be like clay which can be molded into any shape in the hands of the potter - the Holy Spirit.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, renew us in our minds and character. In your Word, You asked Ezekiel to speak unto the bones and they came together and by your Spirit life came into it. Lord, we speak unto our character and nature to fall in line to the Truth, we breathe your Spirit into it so that true life may come into our nature and character. We be renewed in our thinking and understanding. We may know You and dwell in your Kingdom...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scripture ]
Ezekiel 37:1-10
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
