Do you want to be great?

Genesis 12:2 - And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Many people live to make a name and be remembered. But what ever man does is temporary. Even the great monuments will one day crumble down and becomes dust or be forgotten. It is only the Lord who can lift you and make you great.

Jesus never in his life did anything which did not glorify God. Even that one time He did something because someone close to Him (his mother) pleaded Him to so, which did not glorify God the Father; He did it under protest. He did not want to glorify Himself but the act of changing water to vine made his disciples to praise Him. Even today this act has been misused and used to mislead people. He did not want people to believe Him because of seeing great miracles, but He wanted people to see great miracles by believing.

Whatever you do, do it to glorify God; maybe at your work, at home or while walking on the street, anywhere and everywhere, and you will soon find God will lift you up and prosper you.
