Jesus Christ the same forever

Hebrew 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The Bible talks of Jesus as man and in many scriptures Jesus also referred to Himself as Son of Man. As his mission He had to be hundred percent man to show us the way and also be a sacrifice for our sins. It is this reason that many, including Muslims and Jews will tell you that Jesus was just another prophet. As believers we all know that Jesus was the Messiah and there are more that 300+ scriptures that point to Him being the one. We also know that Jesus was the Son of God who became man. When we say Son of God, the term also refers to Angels and man who is operational in the image of God (like Adam before he sinned); commonly referred to in the Old Testament as 'Ishi' (man) or other words and not 'adam' (man).

Jesus Christ was not just any Son of God but was the One who was not created but begotten from the Father. It means He was a part of the Father before He became an identity by Himself. He was God and was before all creation.

Some may tell you Jesus Christ did not claim He was God and He also did not want anybody to prayer to Him. It is true Jesus as man did not want anybody to prayer to Him (for we cannot pray to any human or Angel), but once He was out of the flesh after His death and resurrection, we can prayer to Him as He was and is God. The other part of the claim is a lie for even as man He did claim that He was God incarnated (John8:58). The amazing thing is the name He called Himself 'I AM' was with the same reference that God used for Himself when He spoke from the burning bush to Moses. Jesus Christ was the same God who spoke to Moses and whom also Moses, Abraham, Jacob etc... worshiped.

That also bring to light that most of the scriptures in the Old Testament which referred to the Lord were referring to either Jesus Christ (as God before He became man) or to the Holy Spirit. This may come as a surprise to you as it did to me the day I came to know of it. It was this revelation that made me go deeper into Word study and get into the Bible (Hebrew) Interlinear and Lexicon. There are actually very few scriptures in the Old Testament which really refer to God the Father.

Therefore Jesus Christ remains the same forever; for as God He is beyond time.

Lord, You are so hidden from man and You reveal Yourself only to your loved one. We thank You Lord for choosing us as your chosen one and to reveal Yourself to us. We want to know more of You, for that truth will help us overcome our sinful nature; bring us from 'adam' to 'ishi'. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Exodus 3:13-14

14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others. (All rights are with God)
